The back story: The jobber and odd lot retail store opened 14 years ago in downtown Danbury and was acquired by Brookfield native David Will two years ago. When the landlord decided to make some changes last fall, Will began looking for a new location and happened upon the vacant retail space on Mt Pleasant Road. He relocated to that space and opened the first week of December 2020.

What does the business offer? Will describes Lou’s Everything as a one-of-a-kind store that feels like a treasure hunt each time you walk through the door. One entire room is dedicated to food and beverages, another to clothing, and the balance of the space has a constantly changing variety of stock, primarily open box and closeout items Will acquires from a couple of popular “club”-type stores that he marks down an average of 50 percent before stocking it — cash and carry — at Lou’s Everything.

What would you most like Bee readers to know about your business? Since the store stocks limited runs, close-outs, promotional, seasonal, and other good-as-new but slightly blemished or open-box products, what is here today may be gone tomorrow, and on any given day, new stock could be arriving.
