William H. Felmer Sr, 85, of Danbury, died January 24, at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rebecca Corey Felmer. He was born in New Milford, August 21, 1928, son of William and Ethel Henderson Felmer.

Five daughters, Hillary Honiker, and her husband James, of Newtown, Marlene Fraticelli of East Haven, Victoria Lange, and her husband Richard, of Brookfield, Tracy Miller of Boaz, Ala., and Valerie Chamberland of Waterbury; two sons, William Felmer, Jr, and his wife JoAnne, of Bethel and Brett Felmer, and his wife Catherine, of Brookfield; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren survive Mr Felmer.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the US Marines. He worked as a plumber for the New Milford Foundry Company and DePalma Brothers Plumbing and Heating Company, before working for 30 years with Holmans Plumbing & Heating of Danbury, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the VFW Post in Danbury and the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday, January 29, at 11 am, at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, New Milford. Friends may call at the Lillis Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 28, from 5 to 8 pm.
