Warning From The Fire Marshal

The fire marshal’s office has issued a warning on a product known as the “Andre Microsilk Hairstyling Cape.”

The cape, which is typically used by beauty parlors, hair salons, and barbershops, can burst into flames when placed in a clothes dryer.

The capes carry a warning, but the print on the warning is very small, according to the fire marshal. The fire marshal urges that before drying any hairstyling capes, users read all labels and closely follow instructions.
