Csizmadia Completes USMC Rifleman Course

Anthony J. Csizmadia of Newtown, a member of the United States Marie Corps, was appointed a private first class on January 1. The honor was announced by Lieutenant Colonel T.K. Hobbs, US Marine Corps Commanding Office, Infantry Training Battalion.

Additionally, PFC Csizmadia completed the course prescribed by the Commandant of the Marine Corps for the Infantry Rifleman Course given at Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry, Training Command, at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Announcement of this was made on January 22, by Lt Col Hobbs and Colonel T.S. Mundy, commanding officer of USMC’s School of Infantry.

PFC Csizmadia is the son of Laura and Tim Csizmadia of Newtown. He graduated from Newtown High School in June 2009.
