‘Escape The Winter’ Craft Show Returning This Month

Piper Promotions of Newtown will be hosting “Escape the Winter” craft shows each weekend in February at Lexington Gardens. Shows will be presented each Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm at the nursery and gift shop at 32 Church Hill Road in Newtown.

Participating artists will change each weekend. This weekend (February 6-7), Lexington Gardens will host Country Collectibles artist Neal Blodgett, with carved swans, roosters and decoys; Marcelo Mirinda Handbags, who has handmade handbags as well as stylish yoga mat bags; Miniatures by Monica, with a large selection of clothes and accessories that fit American Girl dolls (the vendor will have her booth open during the week of February 8-12, as well); Pom Pom Purses, which concentrates on recycling materials into once again useful objects such as reusable grocery bags from coffee bags; Birdhouse Accents, with barnwood birdhouses; as well as a blown glass artisan and handmade jewelry.
