WATERBURY – Two educational programs for horsemen will be held together at Teikyo Post University on Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and 15.

One program will be aimed primarily for young dressage riders and the other for professional equestrians. Both programs, however, will cover subjects that competitors, horse owners and parents should know and are open to anyone interested.

The first program will be the Second Annual Weekend Educational Program, first organized by dressage Olympian Lendon Gray last winter in Bedford, New York.

The Financial and Risk Management Seminar will be conducted by Beth Clarke, an equine lawyer and financial manager.

Admission for the Weekend Educational Program is: $20/day or $35/weekend for youth and $40/day or $75/weekend for adults if postmarked by Feb. 7; all fees are  $5 more after February 7. The Financial and Risk Management Seminar fee is $100/day, $180/weekend if postmarked by February 7; $110/day, $299/weekend after February 7.

Both programs will be held in the Leever Student Center on the TPU campus.
