Marcia M. King, 88, of Newtown, previously of Bridgeport, died January 29. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of James and Dora Morrison.
 A resident of Bridgeport for more than 58 years before moving to Newtown 12 years ago, she was a postal worker for more than 20 years at the Middle Street station in Bridgeport. She was very active in the senior citizen events at the Monroe and Newtown Senior Centers. An avid reader, she was well versed in all aspects of general knowledge.
Survivors include her beloved family, Dorothy Rivera and husband, Miguel, of Florida, Barbara Jeffko of Washington, Patricia Grillo and husband, Paul, of Bridgeport, Constance Crouch of West Haven, Margaret (Peggy) Pitt and husband, Walter, of Milford, and Janet Paroski of Massachusetts; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Donations may be made to the charity of oneâs choice in loving memory of Mrs King.
The Commerce Hill-Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.
