The Newtown High School Athletic Department will host a college athletics seminar facilitated by Molly McCarthy, assistant athletic director for compliance and student services at Central Connecticut State University, on Thursday, February 15. The program will take place at the NHS Lecture Hall, 12 Berkshire Road, from 5 to 6 pm.

McCarthy will speak to student-athletes and their families about the college recruiting process, NCAA Eligibility Center, choosing the right college fit, and what students should do now to prepare.
