She and Pat moved to Cos Cob soon after Pat’s tour of duty in the US Army was completed. Shortly thereafter, Anna moved to her family’s first home in Stamford, where she lived for ten years. She was an active member of St Rose of Lima Parish and volunteered at Ben’s Bells, whose theme was “Be Kind,” something that resonated deeply with Anna. She was also a volunteer at the Danbury Hospital Gift Shop.

Anna was an amazing cook, always preparing delicious Italian foods and desserts. She was known for her vast array of Christmas cookies and was never without a plate of her delicious pignoli cookies when she arrived at any event. Anna’s love for her family was foremost in her life. Her faith in God was strong and she relied on her faith to carry her through the tougher times in her life.

Anna worked as a secretary for General Electric Credit, Liggett Drugs, and was the receptionist for Ridgefield High School Guidance Department and Fitzgerald & Hastings Real Estate up until her retirement.
