The Heart of Men Circle, Sticks and Stones Farm, 197 Huntingtown Road, second Wednesday of each month, meet in parking lot at 6:45 pm and catch a ride to the top of the mountain where the outdoor meeting takes place. Support For Friends & Family of Alzheimer’s patients (and related dementias), Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut, 444 Main Street North, Southbury, second Thursday of each month, 10:30 am. Free, open, ongoing group helps participants develop methods and skills to solve problems, encourages caretakers to maintain their own personal, physical, and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia. Meeting is is facilitated by Alzheimer’s Association volunteer.
