Barbara Ann DeAngelo

Barbara Ann DeAngelo, 61, of Wichita Falls, Tex., died on Feb. 25 at United Regional Healthcare Center, Wichita Falls.

She is survived by her brother, Steven Eide and his wife, Madeleine, of Newtown.

Born in New York City and a former resident of Connecticut, she was the daughter of Herbert and Adeline Eide, and the widow of Gerald J. DeAngelo. Mrs DeAngelo was an active member of the Newcomers Club, a volunteer at the YWCA “Place,” and a volunteer instructor with the Literary Council in Wichita Falls.

In addition to her parents and brother, she is survived by a son, Gerald J. DeAngelo, II, and his wife, Wanda, of Detroit; a daughter, Donna Marie DeAngelo of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Diane Perachio and her husband, Rick, of Trumbull; another brother, Harold Eide and his wife, Donna, of Brookfield; two brothers-in-law, Richard DeAngelo and his wife, Gail, of Stratford and Neil DeAngelo and his wife, Barbara, of Monroe; a granddaughter, Valerie DeAngelo of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 3, at 9 am from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 am in St Theresa Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.

Friends may call on Friday, March 2, from 4 to 8 pm.
