Justin M. Bowen of Newtown was named to the president’s list at New Hampshire College for the fall 2000 semester. Mr Bowen is a junior majoring in marketing.

Brian J. Calderone of Sandy Hook has been named to the dean’s list at Western New England College. Mr Calderone, majoring in marketing communication/advertising, is the son of Ronald and Paulette Calderone.

Drew University student Jennifer Beth Dorenbosch of Sandy Hook has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2000. Miss Dorenbosch has earned a minimum of a 3.4 grade point average.

Miami University announced its fall 2000 semester dean’s list students recently. Newtown residents Scott K. Maxwell and Meghan E. Walcott were named. Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.

Jodi Miklaszewski, daughter of Ed and Donna Miklaszewski of Sandy Hook, was recently named to the dean’s list for the fall 2000 semester at Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Md. Miss Miklaszewski, a member of the class of 2004, has been elected vice president – communications of the Zeta Psi chapter of Delta Gamma sorority.

Christopher Scott Peyton of Sandy Hook received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Delaware in December.

Southern Connecticut State University announced two students from the area who were named to the fall 2000 dean’s list. Rex P. Krueger of Newtown and Richard H. Hunyadi of Sandy Hook were both ranked in the top ten percent of the class.
