Trinity Workcampers Say Thank You
Trinity Workcampers
Say Thank You
To the Editor:
Trinity Episcopal Churchâs First Annual Benefit Dance was held on Saturday, February 7, in the Alexandria Room, to help support our 31-member Workcamp Group, which is heading to Ohio this summer to help less fortunate homeowners with repairs.
There is a large list of people who helped to make this dance such a success. First, a heartfelt thank you to all who came for food, fun, and fellowship. More than 80 people attended to show their support. Thank you also to those who could not attend, but gave a donation.
There were many local merchants who contributed to our silent auction that we would like to thank. They are: Trader Joeâs, The Green Barn, Lexington Gardens, Petal Pushers, Blue Colony Diner, Nonnaâs Kitchen, Church Hill Wines, Newtown Mobil, Newtown Hardware, Ricciâs Spa, The Natural Look, James Nails, T.J. Maxx, and Chicks & Stones Jewelry. Also a number of individuals generously donated items. Thank you to Joan Carta, Larry Coleman, the Galies, the Palmers, the Murrays, the Perellis, the Cullinans, the Petroviches, the Haylons, the OâConnoâs, the Allens, the Millers, and the Konnekers. Our auction was filled with wonderful baskets.
And lastly, a very special thank you to the FOG band, for all the great music, Patti Ball for providing the food and running the kitchen so smoothly, Donna Benson, who did a wonderful job on our decorations, and Beth Hoolehan for helping with getting the auction items.
Thank you all for a job very well done.
Sincerely,
Leslie Konneker
