Edmond Town Hall announces the return of its Summer Drive-In series, kicking off on Friday, June 14, with the iconic adventure-comedy film The Goonies.

Presented by Title Sponsors IDS Home | Design | Baby and Overhead Door Company of Brookfield, the nostalgic event promises an evening of family fun under the stars.

As dusk falls, audiences will gather at Edmond Town Hall for a cinematic experience reminiscent of the golden age of drive-in theaters. Tickets are available online at $20 per car. For those who want to carry in their own seating, walk-in spaces are available for $6 per person (BYO garden/beach chair).

Screenings begin at dusk. The drive-in is set up in the rear parking lot of the historic building at 45 Main Street. Screenings of The Goonies are planned for June 14-15.

The 2024 season will continue with Top Gun, June 21-22; Shrek, June 28-29; The Shining, July 12-13; The Lorax, July 19-20; Jurassic Park, July 26-27; Dazed and Confused, August 9-10; Footloose, August 16-17; Indiana Jones/Raiders of the Lost Ark, August 23-24; and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, August 30-31.

Weekly food trucks will be announced. The building’s indoor concession stand will also be open for each screening.

Updates and tickets are available online at EdmondTownHall.org.

Special Kick-Off Event

The 2024 Drive-In season will quietly open Friday, May 31, with a free screening of Jaws.

Reservations for this one-night screening are encouraged, and also available through the town hall’s website.

Two screenings of The Goonies in mid-June will formally open the 2024 Edmond Town Hall Drive-In season, which this year features ten weekends of films.
