Mike Hadgraft: “I am a big Pop Warner football fan! There is always a lot going on.”

Henry Washburn: “I’m involved with the [Newtown High School] Tech Club. We do a lot of [lighting and production work for] events around town. There is also the Teen Center, where, as a musician, I have performed.”

Jonathan Toikka: “Yeah — if you go to school, there are a lot of activities. But as a freshman [at Newtown High School] it can be hard. I wish there were more for kids new to a school.”

Susan Toikka: “I think there are some things to do, but it can become difficult. I have heard mixed things about the Teen Center. While there is some [loitering], a lot of parents I’ve talked to have said nothing but positive things.”

Drew Kalkres: “There is a lot for kids to do — the Teen Center has a lot of musical performances on the weekends. There is also Edmond Town Hall. Kids will go there and see movies or just hang out. It gets a little more difficult, though, on the weekends. Things tend to close early.”
