National Anthem Competition At Harbor Yard

BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Bluefish baseball team will hold its annual National Anthem auditions on Thursday, April 8 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

Registration for the event will begin at 4 pm with auditions commencing at 4:30 pm. All registrants will be vie for anthem openings throughout the season.

All contestants will have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem on the field in front of a panel of guest judges. Members from the Sound Magazine and I-95 Radio will be in attendance during the event. Performances will be held with a one minute, 30 second time limit. Solos, groups, and instrumentalists are all invited to perform. Some of the areas of focus for the judges will be on lyrical accuracy, voice quality, presentation, voice projection, and overall performance and talent.

All fans are invited to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard to watch these performances and support their friends and family as they audition.

The Bridgeport Bluefish Professional Baseball Club, a charter team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, plays its home games at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, located off Exit 27 of I-95 on the corner of Broad Street and South Frontage Road in Bridgeport.
