NYCAAP Talent Show Was A Success

To the Editor:

One March 22, NYCAAP held its annual talent show. NYCAAP, Newtown Youth Creating AIDS Awareness for Peers, is a program of Newtown Youth Services for high school students that works toward bringing AIDS awareness to the community. The event was very successful in raising money to fund AIDS service projects.

On behalf of the organization, I would like to thank all that participated and donated to the event. Especially Carminuccio’s Pizza, My Place Restaurant, and The Villa Restaurant and Pizza for their generosity and support in donating the pizza. Also, we extend our thanks to PJ Kish and Dave Gillan for their wonderful performance as well as all the other talented performers. The biggest thank you goes out to Chris David on lighting, Donald Rowe on sound, and Kaitlin Dunseith backstage because without them, the show wouldn’t have been possible.

We are always happy to see support from the community. We hope that everyone enjoyed the event. With many thanks and appreciation,

Laura Amodeo

Secretary
