 WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Corcoran Gallery of Art will present Philip Brookman speaking on Charles Sheeler Thursday, May 10, at 7 pm, in the Hammer Auditorium. Brookman, Corcoran’s director of curatorial affairs, will present a detailed portrait of photographer Charles Sheeler, whose work appears in the “Modernism” exhibition.
