The radio dispatchers at the Newtown Emergency Communications Center at Town Hall South, 3 Main Street, report the following fire calls and the responders:

Thursday, March 27: 2:19 pm, brush fire, near 130 Boggs Hill Road, Hook & Ladder and Dodgingtown responded; 6:09 pm, alarm, 174 Taunton Hill Road, Dodgingtown responded.  

Friday, March 28: 4:59 pm, motor vehicle accident, near 66 Church Hill Road, Hook & Ladder responded.

Saturday, March 29: 8:12 pm, structure fire, 54 Mt Pleasant Road, Hook & Ladder, Hawleyville,  Sandy Hook, Dodgingtown, and Botsford responded.

Sunday, March 30: 3:36 pm, wires down, near 2-A Zoar Road, Sandy Hook responded; 4:54 pm, motor vehicle accident, Schoolhouse Hill Road near Evergreen Road, Sandy Hook responded; 8:57 pm, chimney fire, 20 Dodgingtown Road, Dodgingtown and Hook & Ladder responded; 9 pm, pumping detail, 93 Currituck Road, Hawleyville responded. 

Monday, March 31: 7:07 am, motor vehicle accident, near 153 Sugar Street, Dodgingtown responded; 7:38 am, motor vehicle accident, near 4 Bennetts Bridge Road, Sandy Hook responded; 8:01 am, appliance fire, 7 Grand Place, Hook & Ladder responded; 3:55 pm, wires down, near 98 Hanover Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 9:46 pm, alarm, 7 Farm Field Ridge Road, Sandy Hook responded. 

Tuesday, April 1: 1:29 pm, vehicle fire, near 28 Great Hill Road, Hawleyville and Dodgingtown responded; 5:43 pm, pumping detail, 5 Baldwin Road, Hook & Ladder and Dodgingtown responded.

Wednesday, April 2: 11:42 am, illegal burn, near 6 Washington Avenue, Sandy Hook responded.

Thursday, April 3: 7:41 am, odor of gas outdoors, near intersection of Washington Avenue and Pearl Street, Sandy Hook responded.
