Audience To Gettysburg

DANBURY — A slide show called “A Visit To Gettysburg” will be presented at 3 pm on Sunday, April 9, at Richter House. Carmen Cianflone, a well-known area photographer, will present the program.

A devotee of history as well as nature and the arts, Mr Cianflone will focus on slides taken at Pennsylvania’s famous Military Park during the 125th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. The historic stone wall that divided the North from the South will be shown, as well as many of the dignitaries of the time who were invited for the ceremonies and other points of interest.

Civil War buffs along with the general public are all invited, and discussions will be welcome. The program is free, and refreshments will be served.
