‘Spring Migration’ At Bird Club Meeting

SOUTHBURY — The April meeting of the Western Connecticut Bird Club will feature a slide-illustrated lecture entitled “Spring Passerine Migration and the Silvio O. Conte National Fish & Wildlife Refuge.” It will be presented by Trevor Lloyd-Evans, a senior biologist at the Manomet Center for Conservation Science.

Mr Lloyd-Evans, an expert in bird migration, is an investigator and data manager for the migrant bird stopover habitat survey for the Conte Refuge.

The meeting for the Western Connecticut Bird Club will be held on Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 pm, in Room 103 of Southbury Town Hall on Main Street. The public is welcome, free of charge. For further information, call 744-8323 or 203/938-9165.
