Youth Symphony Open House, April 15

NORWALK — Norwalk Youth Symphony will sponsor an open house on Saturday, April 15, from 9:30 to 11:30 am, at Norwalk City Hall, at 125 East Avenue. The orchestra performs in the building’s concert hall. The event is open to all young musicians, their parents and music teachers. Those attending will have an opportunity to observe orchestra rehearsals, speak with conductors and current members, and receive general information about NYS. Reservations are not necessary.

NYS, currently in its 44th season, provides orchestra and performing opportunities for its 250 members from 30 local towns and communities — including a number from Newtown — through its beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
