The Newtown Babe Ruth Softball League recently held its second clinic for the 9- and 10-year-old girls' division (U10) in the Edmond Town Hall gymnasium. The next one will be held Saturday, April 5, at Newtown Middle School.
The Newtown Babe Ruth Softball League recently held its second clinic for the 9- and 10-year-old girlsâ division (U10) in the Edmond Town Hall gymnasium. The next one will be held Saturday, April 5, at Newtown Middle School.
The clinics give the girls the opportunity to practice and tune up their skills for the 2003 season â scheduled to start this month. Coaches work with the girls on throwing, batting, bunting and sliding techniques.
The clinic this weekend will be run by All Star Batting of Brookfield and will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for U10s and 1 to 3 pm for U12s and U14s. Players are reminded to bring their gloves.
