Newtown High School's girls' and boys' golf, girls' tennis, softball, and baseball teams all had opening day competitions rained/snowed out on Monday, April 4.

The boys' golf team will make up its match against Joel Barlow of Redding on Tuesday, April 5, at Rock Ridge Country Club, beginning at 3 pm. The girls' golfers were also slated to host Barlow; their match has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 27, also at 3 pm.

On the tennis courts, the NHS girls will make up their home match with Bunnell of Stratford on Thursday, April 7, at 3:45 pm.

The baseball team will visit Fairfield Ludlowe on Wednesday, April 6, with first pitch at 4 pm. On the softball field, Newtown's visit to St Joseph of Trumbull was postponed until Saturday, April 16, beginning at 2 pm.
