Drug Charges
Police report they received a request for medical assistance in connection with a possible drug overdose that had occurred in Riverside at 138 Underhill Road, Unit 12, so they went there to investigate at about 9 pm April 2.
Police said that after interviewing her, they arrested Rebecca Carrafiello, 20, of that address, on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Carrafiello was released on $100 bail for an April 17 appearance in Danbury Superior Court, police said.
Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, John A. Testani, Jr, 38, of Danbury went to the police station about 1 pm on April 4 and was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, police report.
The charges stem from messages that Testani allegedly left on the victimâs voice mail last September, police said.
After processing, police released Testani on $200 bail for an April 17 court appearance.
School Bus
Police report that Edward Alicea, 51, of 22 Bonnie Brae Drive was driving a 2001 GMC school bus eastward in the Newtown High School parking lot at about 6:18 pm on April 4, when he started to make a left turn, but struck a light post, causing the light post to fall. There were no passengers on the bus.
There were no injuries. Police took no enforcement. Sandy Hook firefighters responded to the accident.
