Four Arrested After Bar Fight

Police said they arrested four men following a bar fight at 100 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook Center early on the morning of March 30.

Police arrested Scott Kimball, 35, of Southbury on charges of driving under the influence, breach of peace, and two counts of reckless endangerment; Theodore Smith, Jr, 50, of 96 Huntingtown Road, on charges of third degree assault and breach of peace; David Ferraro, 35, of Southbury on a charge of breach of peace; Dennis Kimball, 31, of 99 Hanover Road, on a charge of breach of peace.

All four men posted bail and were released for April 13 appearances in Danbury Superior Court, according to police.

Police said that Scott Kimball, Dennis Kimball, and Ferraro became involved in a verbal argument with Smith, after which Smith allegedly punched Dennis Kimball in the face.

As Scott Kimball was then leaving the area, he drove the front end of his vehicle into Smith’s parked vehicle, in which Smith was sitting, police said. The impact of that crash pushed Smith’s vehicle into another occupied parked vehicle, police said. Neither motor vehicle impacts caused any injuries, according to police.

Scott Kimball then drove from the scene, police said.

Dennis Kimball received hospital medical attention for a facial cut he received when he was struck by Smith, police said.
