The dispatchers at the Newtown Emergency Communications Center, at 191 South Main Street, report the following fire calls and the responders:

Wednesday, April 5: 11:30 am, chimney fire, Washington Avenue, Sandy Hook and Hook & Ladder responded; 3:31 pm, medical assist, Narragansett Trail, Sandy Hook responded.

Thursday, April 6: 1:18 pm, fire alarm, Berkshire Road, Sandy Hook and Hook & Ladder responded; 1:21 pm, medical assist, West Street, Hook & Ladder responded; 7:48 pm, medical assist, I-84 East on Exit 9 on-ramp, Hawleyville responded; 9:48 pm, motor vehicle accident (MVA) with injury, Botsford Hill/Swamp Road, Botsford responded.

Friday, April 7: 7:50 am, MVA with injury, I-84 West between Exits 11 and 10, Sandy Hook and Hook & Ladder responded; 9:49 am, CO alarm, West Street, Hook & Ladder and Dodgingtown responded; 12:27 pm, outside fire, Great Hill Road, Hawleyville and Dodgingtown responded; 11:33 pm, fire alarm, Main Street, Hook & Ladder responded.

Saturday, April 8: 2:26 pm, brush fire, Boulevard, Hook & Ladder responded; 4:15 pm, medical assist, Underhill Road, Sandy Hook responded; 8:23 pm, tree/wires down, Pond Brook Road, Hawleyville responded.
