Text Size

The Flagpole Photographers Camera Club invites the public and photographers of all skill levels to boost their skills at a hands-on workshop featuring the scenic and historic towns of Newtown and Sandy Hook.

Participants will work side-by-side with award-winning photographers in outdoor sessions, followed by an afternoon of digital editing techniques.

“This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for beginners and enthusiasts alike,” said Chane Cullens, who will lead the workshop. “We’ll cover fundamentals like composition and focus, as well as techniques to capture motion and enhance images.”

The workshop is planned for Saturday, April 27, from 9 am until 2:30 pm. Students will spend time at The Pleasance and in Sandy Hook Center, with Newtown Senior Center scheduled for the afternoon time and an indoor location for the morning in the event of inclement weather.

Cost is $25 per person (free for Flagpole), which will also include club membership through August 31.

Registration is required and available via email to Info@FlagpolePhotographers.com (mention the April workshop).
