My beloved father Francois Bouhom passed away peacefully at age 80 on Friday, April 19, in Paris, France, after a long and brave battle against illness. He was known as “American Boy” because of his love of America and its entrepreneurial spirit. Mr Bouhom was a highly respected businessman in Cameroon, the CEO of a major transportation company and a notable regional leader.

Francois Bouhom left behind a great legacy as a true hero to many in his hometown. He has built schools, hospitals, and churches for the underserved. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to supporting others. A father figure to many, Francois Bouhom will be remembered for his unending generosity and contribution to the development of his country.

His legacy will live on forever because of his positive impact on society.

A celebration of his life service will be held in Paris, France, his second hometown, on Saturday April 27. It will also be followed by a funeral service in his beloved home country of Cameroon on May 25. May you rest in comfort and peace for eternity dad.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the nonprofit organization Striving For All, which supports and empowers children in their community through quality education and access to medical care.

2 Timothy 4:7, NIV: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.

Forever in our hearts!
