On Saturday, April 27, from 8:30 am to 1 pm, volunteers are invited to support the Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited and Pootatuck Watershed Association to keep local ecosystems healthy.

All are invited to help clean up waste, prepare for stream bank stabilization projects, and protect the riparian buffer, working toward providing a clean, clear aquifer system, a sustainable trout habitat and a happy Mother Nature.

Those interested should meet in the rear parking lot of Cover Two, 100 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook Center, to get an assignment where support is needed. Wear appropriate clothing including long sleeves, long pants, gloves, and sturdy shoes.
