Verna Barry

Verna Bush Barry, 82, wife of William Barry, Sr, of Fairfield, died April 22 in Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Noreen Reid of Sandy Hook; Anne Marie Edwards of Windsor; William Barry of Jefferson, Maine; Ellen Howell of State College, Penn., Theresa Liscinsky of Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren, and a brother, Carl Bush, of Mattydale, N.Y.

Born in Geneva, N.Y., she was a resident of Fairfield since 1958. She was a retired secretary for the Westport Board of Realtors.

Funeral services were held on Saturday in the Lesko Funeral Home in Fairfield Center, and in St Thomas Church. Burial followed in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
