Benefit Silent Auction And Luncheon Planned For Musicals At Richter

DANBURY — Musicals at Richter (MAR), southwestern Connecticut’s longest running outdoor theater, will sponsor an elegant luncheon and silent auction to kick off its 20th season Sunday, May 16, beginning at 12:30 pm. The event will be at Café on the Green, Aunt Hack Road in Danbury (adjacent to the golf course).

The afternoon will feature a silent auction to benefit the non-profit community theater, along with musical entertainment showcasing performers and songs from past and present seasons.

The auction will feature a wide range of unusual items, including a variety of goods and services, tickets for stage shows and special tours, and novel in-home theatrical presentations.

Tickets for the event are $35 and include hors d’oeuvres; a served gourmet luncheon with choice of salmon, chicken or pasta; and dessert with coffee and tea service. A cash bar will be available.

For reservations send a check along with entrée preference to Musicals at Richter, PO Box 191, Danbury CT 06813.

Donations are still being accepted for the auction. Call Jody Bayer at 794-0579 to make arrangements.

Musicals at Richter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
