Nighthawk Tennis Teams Victorious

Newtown High School's girls' and boys' tennis teams both defeated Stratford 7-0 on May 9 — the girls on the road and the boys at home.
For the boys, singles winners were Sam Cannizzo 6-0, 6-0, Josh Parsons 6-1, 6-1, Ben Ochs 6-2, 6-4, and Orion Bracksieck 6-3, 6-2. Doubles winners were Andrew Sposato/Alex Kyrprianou 6-0, 6-0, Oliver Clancy/Theo Anderson 6-1, 6-0, and Mikey Berry/Trevor Hislop 6-1, 6-0.
