CT Dance School Concert

At Sacred Heart University

FAIRFIELD — Dancers ranging in age from seven to 18 will perform in Connecticut Dance School’s Spring Concert at Sacred Heart University on Sunday, June 3, at 3 pm. Students hail from communities around the state, including Bridgeport, Brookfield, Easton, Fairfield, Greens Farms, Monroe, Newtown, Trumbull, Southport, Wallingford, Westport and Weston.

Connecticut Dance School, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing dance education of the highest standard to the Connecticut community, is located at 65 Station Street in Southport.

Alan Woodard, an internationally recognized contributor to the dance community, is director of the school and principal choreographer. He is assisted by Moira Murphy Wright, who has choreographed three pieces for the spring program.

Other teachers whose choreography will be included in the concert are Mel Curry of Norwalk; Patrice Pudvah Logan of Meriden; Patricia Robson of Shelton; and Caroline Lucy Smith of West Haven.

Tickets are $12, or $8 for seniors over 65 and children under 12, and may be purchased in advance at the school. Remaining tickets will be available at the box office on the day of the performance. For more information, call 203-255-3701.
