Explorer Tea

The fifth grade studied explorers for more than a month. After all our research, we chose our favorite explorer and did a report on them. We dressed up and role-played explorers such as Juan Ponce de Leon, Samuel De Champlain, and Sir Frances Drake in an Explorer Tea Celebration.

Mr Breyan thought this was a fun and educational event. Kelly Fagan said this was a fun and interesting way to learn about explorers. Sammie Ciaccia thought it was a good way to learn.

The Explorer Tea was not only fun for the students, it was also fun for the parents and teachers. The Explorer Tea was similar to a “living museum.” Afterwards we ate cookies and bread. We drank iced tea, juice, and soda. The Explorer Tea was an educational and fun event.
