Donations Sought For Thrift Ball

Several Newtown High School students are asking the Newtown community to pull from their drawers and donate their unneeded clothes to help the less fortunate.

Jon Catino, Chris Herity, Jen Chuddy, and Kelly Shpunt are high school students who are organizing the community service project entitled The Newtown Thrift Ball. Clothing of all seasons and sizes will be greatly appreciated.

The Newtown Thrift Ball boxes will be available for people to put clothing donations into at Newtown High School on 12 Berkshire Road in Newtown from June 6 to June 22. All clothing will be donated to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.
