Caroline Czel

Enjoyed Home, Church, And Family

Caroline Czel, 83, of Norwalk, beloved wife of the late Steven J. Czel, died May 30 at St Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Frances (Tortorella) Yovino.

She is survived by four sons and their wives, James A. and Mary Ann Czel of Newtown, John S. and Madeline Czel of New Milford, Steven J. and Susan Czel of Bethel, and Robert J. and Laura Czel of Stratford; two sisters, Madeline and Jennie; five cherished grandchildren, Shannon, Stephanie, Bryan, Sam, and Steve; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was a former employee of MBI, and a cafeteria worker in the Norwalk School System. Mrs Czel was very involved with St Joseph Church, and also enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and spending time with family.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St Joseph Church, South Norwalk, June 4, with burial following in St John Cemetery, Norwalk.
