To the Editor:

What a very welcome surprise appeared in my mailbox today!

I am so very happy The Newtown Bee is back. I have missed holding it in my hands. The virtual Bee is just not the same.

I would also like to mention how proud I am of our town and of how our community is responding to this pandemic. Social distancing, masks, people helping and caring for those in need and reaching out in so many ways to get us through.

Thank you to my fellow Newtowners — we will get through this together.

And again... Welcome back to The Bee.
