Flanders Nature Center Summer Programs For Children

WOODBURY — Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is offering two new programs for children ages 2 and 3. Animal Alphabets and Counting Colors programs are designed for young children and a parent/guardian to explore the sites, sounds, colors, and world of nature in a fun and exciting “learning” environment.

Included in the classes will be stories, puppets, music, and crafts. Children learn an exciting new way to introduce counting and alphabets to the natural world around them. Animal Alphabets will be offered Tuesday and Thursday, July 16 and 18, from 1 to 4 pm, and Counting Colors will be held Tuesday and Thursday, July 23 and 25, from 1 to 4 pm.
