10U Baseball State Tourney Will Take Place At Glander Field Complex

Newtown will host the 10U Cal Ripken Baseball State Tournament at the Glander Field Complex in Fairfield Hills beginning Friday, July 3 and running throughout the next week.
Games will run all day Saturday and Sunday, and 5:30 pm each night during the week, leading up to the championship game Friday, July 10 (and Saturday, July 11 if necessary). It is a double-elimination tournament.
Newtown's first game is Saturday, July 4 versus New Fairfield at 2 pm. Newtown is one of the top seeds after going 4-0 in pool play in Danbury over the past two weekends.
