An Adventure In Papermaking

SOUTHBURY — The Federation, Jewish Communities of Western Connecticut, Inc, 444 Main Street in Southbury, is offering a series of papermaking classes with Anita Liebeskind in July on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for two weeks. Ms Liebeskind has been creating paper since the 1960s.

Learn to turn dried flowers, bugs, dryer lint, even dog hair into beautiful works of art. Due to the July 4 holiday the first day of class will begin on Tuesday, July 6. The second week will begin on Monday, July 12. Classes start at 10 am and run until noon. This is an adult-only class, space is limited and participants must have prepaid registration prior to the first class. The fee for the class is $60 per person.
