The Winterset Ski Club stays active in the off-season and held a social gathering at Reverie Brewery, 57B Church Hill Road, on June 24. Winterset Ski Club was founded in the early 1970s. Skiers and snowboarders may join the club at wintersetskiclub.org. For the coming season, the club is arranging day bus trips for club members to Vermont ski areas, a five-day midweek trip to Sugarloaf, Maine, and a weeklong trip to Heavenly, Calif.
