Antiques In A Cow Pasture Now A Sunday Show

SALISBURY — There is a positive change coming for the show Antiques in A Cow Pasture, announces Frank Gaglio of Barn Star Productions. The 56-year running show, which benefits Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association, will make the move from a Saturday show to a Sunday event — this year it will be held September 10.

Mr Gaglio comments that while “the original Russell Carrell show has been very successful in the past, visitors to the Salisbury area on that weekend had to choose between attending the popular antiques show or the local house tours. Barn Star has worked with the house tours group by selling their tickets at the antiques show in exchange for their placing our show cards at the homes in the tour. But, many attendees have expressed the desire to do both events. We hope by moving our antiques show to Sunday, now they can.”

Mr Gaglio also notes the Brimfield, Mass., fall antiques shows end on Saturday, September 9, and he extends an invitation to those Brimfield dealers who would like to end their week exhibiting at the historic Antiques In A Cow Pasture in beautiful, affluent Litchfield County.

Antiques In A Cow Pasture presents more than 65 diverse dealers in a lovely rural setting with free parking, a gourmet ice cream vendor and an outdoor café. The show is at 92 Canaan Road (Route 44), up the road from the White Hart Inn, and is held rain or shine. Hours are early buying from 9 am until 11 am, $15, and general admission, 11 am until 4 pm, $7.
