Margaret (Swanberg) Couch, 77, of New Milford died peacefully July 7, in The Kent, after a long illness. She was born in Waterbury, Conn., and spent her life in the New Milford and Washington, Conn., area.

Her daughters Susan Christian, and her husband David, of Newtown and Liz Yarrish, and her husband Leon; her son Lawrence Couch, and wife Veronica; and her sister Susan Killian of Florida survive Mrs Couch. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four nieces, and several nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be take place at Colonial Funeral Home, 87 Park Lane Road, New Milford, Saturday July 19, at 11 am. Family will receive friends one hour preceding the service.
