Helen Rotella

Helen G. Rotella, 65, of Toms River, N.J., died July 25 at Community Hospital in Toms River. She was the wife of Leon M. Rotella, Sr.

Mrs Rotella was born in Danbury, October 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Hyatt) Gore. She was employed as a mortgage broker for Union Savings Bank, retiring in 1996 after numerous years of service.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Dawnmarie Rotella of Newtown, Debora Keller and her husband, Robert F., of Riverton, Leon M. Rotella, Jr, and his wife, Theresa, of Monroe, and Robert Joseph Rotella and his wife, Lynne-Ann, of Danbury; her brothers and sisters, Beverly Toth of Trenton, N.J., Ronald Gore of New Milford, Linda Mazza of Bethel, Patricia Bickelhaupt of Bethel, and Robert Gore, Jr, of Stockbridge, Vt.; her grandchildren Ashleigh Marie Beck, Richard A. Beck, III, and Julia Noel Rotella; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John J. Gore, Richard C. Gore, Rowland J. Gore, and Donald C. Gore.

Funeral services were held July 30 at The Green Funeral Home, 571 Main Street, Danbury. Burial followed at Wooster Cemetery.
