Arlene Kaempfer Wrabel, Danbury Hospital Ward Clerk

Arlene Kaempfer Wrabel, 76, of Leesburg, Fla., died August 2.

Born in Bridgeport she was a resident of Monroe before moving to Leesburg, Fla., in 1995.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Eugene J. Wrabel, Sr of Leesburg; sons William and his wife, Virginia Wrabel of Newtown, Eugene J. Wrabel, Jr and his wife, Susan of Washington Depot, daughter Donna Viglione and her husband, Salvadore of Inverness, Fla.; brothers Charles Kaempfer and his wife, Valorie of Heath, Mass, John Donald Kaempfer and his wife, Barbara of Plymouth, Robert Kampfer and his wife, Mary of Tamworth, N.H.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs Wrabel was a retired ward clerk in the maternity department at Danbury Hospital. She enjoyed crafts.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 11 at 11 am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Cutlers Farm Cemetery, Cross Hill Road, Monroe. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of Lake Sumter, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778, or the American Cancer Society.
