BUCKINGHAM, PENN. -- Seven artists will participate in the Bianco Gallery's
winter exhibition, "The Art of Still Life," on view through March 22.
The exhibit will feature recent works by David Baker, Edie Bristol, Michael
Gallagher, Barbara Lewis, Christopher McCall, Ed Rafferty and William Sloan.
Baker's still life paintings evoke quietude and softness; Bristol depicts
color and energy in her abstract paintings; Gallagher concentrates on
small-scale panel presentations grounded in abstraction and heightened through
a defined, formal presentation; Lewis presents realistic portrayals of fruit,
flowers, and table-top scenes; McCall's works focus on florals and still
lifes; Rafferty creates realistic still life scenes; and Sloan's paintings
combine spontaneity with definition and detail.
The gallery is at 3921 Route 202 and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am
to 5 pm, Sunday, 1 to 5 pm.
