Selectmen Fill Board Vacancies

The Board of Selectmen made several appointments and reappointments to town

boards and commissions at its meeting Monday night.

Heading the list is Tax Collector Carol Mahoney, who was reappointed to a

four-year term.

Democrat Robert W. Connor, Jr, of 24 Indian Hill Road was reappointed to a

two-year term as constable.

Republican Edward H. Zeller of 201 Sugar Street was reappointed to a two-year

term on the Pension Committee.

Democrat Ruby Johnson of 16 Chestnut Hill Road was given the nod to serve a

two-year term on the Persons With Disabilities Committee.

Democrat Leo E. McIlrath of 13 Sugarloaf Road was reappointed to a three-year

term on the Commission on Aging.

Democrat Cheryl Grenier of 7 Serenity Lane was reappointed to a two-year term

as an alternate on the Commission on Aging.

New appointees included Democrat Jay Gill of 8 Spruce Drive, who was given the

nod to serve a six-year term on the Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers.

Republican Winthrop Ballard of Papoose Hill Road was appointed to a three-year

term on the Economic Development Commission.
