Two Charges At Work Site

Newtown police were dispatched to High Rock Road around 4:09 pm on July 22 for a report of a disturbance at a work site on the roadway.

Following an investigation, it was determined that Henri Mota-Salcedo, 53, of the Bronx, N.Y., nearly collided with another vehicle after ignoring a worker directing traffic at the construction zone. Mota-Salcedo then got out of his vehicle, took a metal pipe from his trunk, and became violent, swinging the pipe at one of the construction workers. None of the individuals involved were injured.

Mota-Salcedo was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and Breach Of Peace. He was released on a promise to appear, and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Court on August 5.

Newtown Police officers were dispatched to a Washington Avenue residence at 4:04 pm on July 26 for a reported disturbance.

Following an investigation Rebecca Blake Farin, 25, of Newtown, was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Donovan Roman, 27, of Newtown, was also charged with Disorderly Conduct.

They were processed and released from the scene on a promise to appear the following day at Danbury Superior Court.

Farin was transported to Newtown Police Department, where she was processed and released after posting bond. For that incident she was given a court date of July 28.
