Business name: River’s Edge Healing Center

Address: 5 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook

Owner: Lori Haggerty

Business background: We had our official grand opening on August 3. I fell in love with the building and property around it. It seemed like a good area to bring a healing center. I had my own business prior to this, but this is a much bigger venture.

Business focus: Each of the six house practitioners at River’s Edge Healing Center has their own practice in the building. We offer Reiki healing, spiritual counseling, ministry services, aesthetics, psychic medium readings, sound healing, shamanic healing, massage, Qigong, yoga classes, ionic detox foot baths, PEMF therapy, and an infrared sauna. We do additional workshops, too.

Important to know: My vision bringing this here is to give people an option of having many modalities to choose from for overall healing, whether it is emotional healing, physical healing, [etc.]. We have something for everybody. You can get many things here under one roof.

Future events and specials: Once a month we will be having a Soulful Saturday, with additional practitioners, where people can come in and try the different services we offer. Our upcoming Soulful Saturday is September 14, from 11 am to 4 pm. There will also be back-to-school specials that people can go to our Facebook to learn more about.

Hours: By appointment.
